Historically Speaking Episode 129

"Civil War Medical Care." Bob Ranftle of the Rutland Historical Society presents a brief overview of medical care in Vermont prior to the Civil War. During the Civil War problems in medical care led to major changes, many of which were led by Dr. Jonathan Letterman. Some Rutland doctors serving in the Civil War were also leaders in the changes.
